Whats the tv show where if you save the Item with a contraption you keep it?

Like they had a moped once or a TV once.. and they dropped it from a building and a team of people had to build something to save the item from destruction, and if they did they got to keep the item.. I think it was on the science channel or maybe discovery channel..
