My moped stops accerating at 1/2 throttle?

its a 50 cc 4 stroke chinese moped. works fine when its cool but after your going for a while its starts to sputter out at 1/3-1/2 twist... i found the only way to make it up hills when its warm is to repeatedely pull the throttle... im guessing i should adjust something on the carb?
