Brand new Moped license plates, how long does it take to receive?

I've passed my CBT, have my license and now I have my actual brand new moped. As it's new, it didn't come with any plates so I have to fill in an application form to get one for it. Once the form is completed, I was told to go down to the local DVLA and hand them the form to get plates. How long is this process? Is is a matter or minutes or weeks? Thank you.
