Mopeds and liscenses?

Check your local laws--most areas say mopeds are up to 50cc with the automatic transmissions and speed restriction of around 30mph. Wisconsin and some other states say up to 135cc with operating bicycle type pedals and no transmission , speed restricted to 30 mph can have 'moped' license plates and no motorcycle endorsement on drivers license. Federal the transportation law definitions say up to 150 cc is a light motorcycle/motor driven cycle and not allowed on interstate--but still a motorcycle requiring a motorcycle endorsement on driver license. you say moped-is that what the license plate notes? What make and model is it? What is exact engine displacement-148cc or 151cc? Some states have graduated drivers license for light motorcycles- up to 150cc- like California noted to have. Illinois also noted to split drivers license and plates on 150cc size--my old Honda Dream 150 was 154cc and legal on interstate, friends 147cc Yamaha was not allowed on interstate and he had slightly more power and speed.
