Plain french tip or patterned french tip for this outfit?

The dress is very simple, red with white polka dots. i was thinking to either get complete white tips or get a white tip and fancy it up with some red polka dots to kind of go with the dress. (if i do my nails in red tips white dots it wont really show) its for senior prom next week. which do u think i should go with? i really like plain tips but the polka dots seems fun..please help! 10 POINTS!
